Today's Leak: 2008 Mazda 6, But For European Consumption Only?

Thanks to the site KM77, we're able to bring you these images of the Mazda 6 set to debut at the Frankfurt show. As you can see, it's downright stunning for a mid-size sedan, with the same curvaceous front fenders as the RX-8 or CX-7. While full details haven't been released, we'd expect the car to feature all the features and options necessary to stay competitive in this segment, and engines will most likely carry over. The catch? According to sources close to Mazda, Americans may never see this car, much in the same way that our Honda Accord is different from Europe's (it's our Acura TSX.) We're told Mazda is busy working on a different 6 that's more in tune to American preferences, and we interpret that as bland and soft. Click through for more pictures of the European version.
